Blood Dungeon Leaderboards & High Scores

Blood Dungeon’s Steam page lists Leaderboards and global high scores as features. IGN’s preview with Mark Essen added the design reason: friends asked for a scoring system so there is still a reason to return after you have “mastered” the six named arenas. This page is the score-attack map. It does not invent a point formula, a regional-versus-global split, or a Bone multiplier for rank.

The game launched 25 August 2026 as single-player. A leaderboard is a number next to your Steam account, not a second hunter in the dungeon. For the extra daily mode itself, use Daily Dungeon. For patch wording, use Launch Notes.

What we can cite

• Steam store flags: Leaderboards, Cloud, Achievements, Family Sharing.
• Store copy: global high scores and Daily dungeons.
• Steam achievement Vampire Ring: play the Daily. That trophy is “enter the mode,” not “place top 100.”
• IGN: a scoring system meant for the post-mastery habit.
• Messhof’s 26 August 2026 Steam news post titled hotfix: “leaderboard placement number no longer gets cut off.” That is the only public UI bug we will name. We do not invent how many digits the old client clipped.

If your overlay still truncates a rank, update the client and check Steam news again. Do not copy a fan “1.0.1” label. Messhof’s posts are titled hotfix and hotfix 2, not numbered patches.

Daily versus named arenas

Named spine: Catacombs, Pit, Corridor, Boiler, Tombs, Flood. Those maps gate unlocks and the long Bunkhouse trophy. Daily is extra. A high Daily score does not replace a Flood clear.

Play Catacombs until wall-cling is readable — Getting Started and Movement — then open Daily when you want a shared seed rather than another first-boss gate. If the daily asks for a bunkmate you lack, skip it. Hypnomancer is still the second Boiler boss, not a board reward.

The same hotfix also restored Bone Shop powers after finishing a Daily. If you used to feel “empty” after a daily and assumed it was a leaderboard penalty, it was a bug. Spend Bones at the Dogmancer as usual after you return to the hub.

How to chase a score without a fake meta

Bring a kit you can steer. Gun Man and Barbarian are the honest teachers. Skinja’s speed helps open floors; Leggy’s webs help Flood if the daily rolls water. Bug’s flight skips floor piles. Powder Keg and Revivalist were named in that same hotfix as bugged kits; do not assume they are required for a top line until your own HUD says so.

Game Informer called out basketball (bouncing balls) and a “double everything” card as run-winners in campaign clears. That is a review anecdote, not a published leaderboard rule. Read the three level-up cards in front of you. Weapon identities: Weapons. Synergy notes: Synergies.

Streamer Mode and the blood slider still apply if you clip a board run. Set them on Streamer Mode before you record, not after.

Platforms and Cloud

Steam Cloud is listed. A Daily on one Windows PC should follow the same Steam account. This wiki does not claim Cloud plus Xbox Play Anywhere merges boards. Game Pass and Platforms cover storefronts. Steam Deck covers handheld reports without a fake Verified badge.

Console overlays may show ranks differently. The hotfix about placement numbers being cut off was a Steam news post; if a console SKU still clips a digit, treat that as a separate client until Messhof posts for that storefront.

What this page will not publish

• A points table (kills, time, chests, no-hit).
• A claim that deaths wipe or keep a Daily board.
• Invented Bone multipliers for consecutive days.
• A requirement to main Leech. Leech is a Wyrm-under-30-seconds achievement, not a score character. See Achievements.

Messhof’s launch post invited players to the leaderboards and pointed technical issues at Discord and the Steam forum. If a board looks frozen, that is where to ask — not a fan patch number.
