Blood Dungeon Flood Arena

The last story map in the first-boss chain: water, oxygen, Battery, and Crystalize.

Last updated:

Flood is the sixth story arena in Blood Dungeon, opened by beating the first boss of Tombs — the Flood achievement. Water, oxygen, and swimming define the map. It is not the Daily Dungeon. Vampire Ring tracks playing the daily. Flood is the last door in the first-boss chain: Catacombs, Pit, Corridor, Boiler, Tombs, then here.

The game released 25 August 2026. Runs are solo. Layouts are mostly fixed, so drown routes can be learned. Keys and items still wander. Hidden chests sit in pockets you only reach with a full breath plan or a skip. Crystalize is fully exploring Flood. Treat that like Multiheal on Boiler: sweep, do not tunnel the final boss and leave.

Oxygen and swimming

Flood asks you to manage breath while you still auto-fire. Swimming is slower than a dry sprint. A route that looks short on the floor can be a drowning trap if it never breaks the surface. Plan exits: a climbable wall, a ceiling pocket with air, or a skip that never enters the long drown. The Movement guide is the dry-land kit. Flood is that kit plus timers.

Some reviewers used an Aftermath synergy: a fire-rate upgrade that kicks in at low oxygen. Mention it as a line some coverage played, not as a card you are guaranteed to see. If it appears, it is a desperation tool. If it does not, your plan is still breath and pathing.

Leggy, Bug, and everyone else

Leggy’s webs work underwater. That is the documented Flood advantage: temporary rungs in a volume where swimming is slow. Bug’s flight helps skip drowning routes by leaving the water instead of racing it. Neither character is required to enter Flood. Gun Man’s machine gun still fires while you correct a swim. Barbarian swords cover anything that meets you in a tight flooded closet. Skinja’s ground speed is worth less submerged; the shotgun still matters when a fight is close at a lip. Baby’s magnum wants a dry ledge with a sightline. Hypnomancer gas, if you earned it on Boiler’s second boss, is a doorway tool above water more than a swim replacement.

Compare traits on Bunkmates, weapons on Weapons, pairings on Loadouts. Leech remains an achievement on Catacombs’ Wyrm, not a mermaid bunkmate.

Combat in water

Early enemies still apply. Bats over water punish a surfacing that you timed poorly. Centaurs on dry lips shoot into the pool. Exploding eyeballs in a flooded choke are worse than in Catacombs. Use Enemies for types. Use Flood to learn that kiting can mean swimming perpendicular to a charge, then grabbing a wall before oxygen hits zero.

Named bosses and Crystalize

  • Battery is the final Flood boss.
  • Crystalize is fully exploring Flood, not a boss title.

Other Flood mid-fights are not named here. Patterns: Beat Bosses. Polygon’s Bone Dragon is a named late threat; this page does not assign that fight to Flood.

Chests, Bones, and the daily trap

Hidden chests are how Crystalize gets paid. A chest behind a long drown is a Leggy or Bug problem, or a Gun Man problem with a better air pocket. Plan the breath first, then the fight. Bank Bones at the Dogmancer if you keep dying to oxygen, not to Battery. This page lists no shop prices and no invented wave numbers.

Battery is the named finale, not the exploration trophy. You can beat Battery and still owe Crystalize a full sweep. The reverse is also true: a curious clear can finish Crystalize before you are ready to learn Battery’s tells. For fight craft, use Beat Bosses. For Steam names, use Achievements.

When you came from Tombs only to open this map, you can still go back for Procrastinator. Opening Flood does not retire the denser rooms behind you. When you came to finish the chain, learn one safe air loop, one skip if you have Bug, and one web line if you have Leggy, then spend the extra minutes on Crystalize. Aftermath’s low-oxygen fire-rate line remains a reviewer synergy, not a promised card. Flood shipped 25 August 2026. It is solo, live, and the water end of the six-arena story — not a rotating daily wearing a sixth-map costume. Hub: Arenas Hub.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

How do I unlock Flood?

Defeat the first boss in Tombs. That kill is the Flood achievement and opens this arena. Daily Dungeon is a separate mode.

Why pick Leggy or Bug in Flood?

Leggy's webs work underwater, giving climbable lines where swimming is slow. Bug's flight helps skip drowning routes. Other bunkmates can still clear the map.

What are Battery and Crystalize?

Battery is the final Flood boss. Crystalize is the achievement for fully exploring Flood, not a boss name.

Is the low-oxygen fire-rate upgrade guaranteed?

No. Some reviewers used an Aftermath synergy at low oxygen. Treat it as a possible card, not a guaranteed drop.
