Blood Dungeon Tombs Arena
Late-chain map: denser rooms, hidden chests, Flood unlock, and Procrastinator.
Tombs is the fifth story arena in Blood Dungeon. You reach it by beating the first boss of Boiler — the Tombs achievement. Treat it as later, denser, and exploration-heavy. This page will not invent a unique gimmick the studio has not shown. If a room feels like a crypt, play the walls and chests in front of you. Do not invent a special tomb mechanic to fill a wiki gap.
The game is out as of 25 August 2026. Runs are solo. Layouts stay mostly fixed, so a second visit is a better map in your head, not a new maze seed. Keys and items still wander. Hidden chests matter more here because density punishes a lazy main-path sprint. That is the honest read: more stuff in the way, more reason to sweep.
Unlock and what comes after
First-boss chain: Catacombs, Pit, Corridor, Boiler, Tombs, Flood. The Flood achievement is the first Tombs boss. That kill opens Flood before you owe Procrastinator a clear. The Daily Dungeon is still not the sixth story map. Vampire Ring tracks playing the daily. Use the Arenas Hub and Achievements when names blur.
If you took Hypnomancer from Boiler’s second boss, Tombs is a fair place to try gas in tighter rooms. You did not need that character to open Tombs. You needed the first Boiler boss.
Density without a fake gimmick
Compared with Catacombs, expect less teaching space and more overlapping threats. Compared with Pit, expect fewer pure well kilometres unless a shaft happens to be in the room. Compared with Corridor, expect less of a single long kite line. None of that is a named mechanic. It is late-chain packing. Movement is still climb, drop, ceiling — Movement — plus the patience to leave a packed doorway.
Enemy types still include the early set. Use Enemies instead of inventing tomb-only species. Centaurs in tight rooms have shorter, meaner sightlines. Bats steal the air you wanted as a reset. Exploding eyeballs in a dead end are a routing problem, not flavour text.
Polygon named Bone Dragon as a late threat. This page does not pin that boss to Tombs. If you meet a named late fight that is not Procrastinator, log it; do not assume this file already listed it.
Named bosses
- First Tombs boss — Flood achievement, unlocks Flood.
- Procrastinator — final Tombs boss.
No other Tombs titles here. Patterns: Beat Bosses.
Characters that actually exist on this wiki
Gun Man remains a valid clear. Barbarian swords help when rooms collapse to melee. Skinja’s speed is for any stretch that opens up; the shotgun is for bunches. Baby’s magnum wants the rare long line. Hypnomancer gas, if unlocked, is a doorway tool. Leggy webs and Bug flight are still more about Flood’s water, but they can skip ugly geometry here too. See Bunkmates, Weapons, Loadouts. Leech is an achievement on Wyrm, not a tomb crawler.
Chests, Bones, and the Flood door
Sweep like you did for Multiheal in Boiler, even though Tombs has no published full-explore trophy name on this page. Hidden chests are how late maps pay curiosity. Because keys and items still wander, a second visit can find a pocket you walked past while the walls look unchanged. Bank Bones at the Dogmancer if you keep dying in an unmapped pocket. This wiki lists no shop prices for entering Tombs.
Entering with Hypnomancer gas is a bonus from Boiler’s second boss, not a requirement. The first Boiler boss is the only story gate. Gas helps when rooms collapse into doorways; it does not rewrite Tombs into another Corridor. If you skipped Kill Zone or Multiheal, you can still return to Boiler. Opening Tombs does not retire that map. The Flood door likewise does not delete Procrastinator.
Players who treat the first-boss chain as a sprint start to feel the cost here: density hides chests behind fights you would rather not take twice. When you only need water, take the first-boss door into Flood. When you want Procrastinator, learn one loop that hits side rooms without trapping you in a blender doorway. The Daily Dungeon remains a side mode, not a shortcut around oxygen. Tombs shipped with the rest of the game on 25 August 2026. It is solo, live, and the dense hinge before Flood.
