Blood Dungeon Boiler Arena

Industrial mid-chain map: Hypnomancer on the second boss, Kill Zone last, Multiheal for full exploration.

Last updated:

Boiler is the fourth story arena in Blood Dungeon. It unlocks when you defeat the first boss of Corridor — the Steam achievement named Boiler is that kill. The name is industrial and hot. Do not invent lava tick numbers, floor damage tables, or other hazard math the game has not published. Treat heat as theme and pressure, not as a stat sheet.

The six-arena chain around Boiler is CatacombsPit → Corridor → Boiler → TombsFlood. The Daily Dungeon is still a separate mode (Vampire Ring tracks playing it). Boiler is not Daily, and Daily is not the sixth story map. The game shipped 25 August 2026 as single-player. Layouts stay mostly fixed; keys and items can move; chests hide.

Some coverage describes a mining-style arena among the six — PC Gamer mentioned “the map you have to mine through.” Do not assert that Boiler is that mining map. Hedge: a mining-style space is part of the six-arena conversation; Boiler is the industrial heat name in the first-boss chain. If a later source pins mining to this map, update then. Until then, play Boiler as the industrial classroom, not as an unverified mine simulator.

First boss, second boss, last boss

The Steam achievement named Tombs tracks Boiler’s first boss. That kill opens Tombs. The second Boiler boss is the Hypnomancer character unlock. Kill Zone is the final Boiler boss. Multiheal tracks fully exploring Boiler — not a boss name, an exploration trophy. Polygon’s Bone Dragon remains a named late threat without a locked Boiler spawn.

You can advance the story chain with only the first Boiler boss. Staying for Hypnomancer, Kill Zone, Multiheal, and hidden chests is how this map pays extra. Bones still bank at the Dogmancer. Movement here mixes Corridor-style kiting with Catacombs wall climb; do not expect Pit’s endless well unless a room actually drops that way.

Hypnomancer is the mid-map prize

Hypnomancer is not a starter and is not available when you first enter Corridor. Gas becomes yours after Boiler’s second boss. Once unlocked, the kit is area denial: conceptually strong in hallways and chokes you already survived in Corridor, and useful when you return to earlier maps. That is a later loop, not a reason to skip Kill Zone. Compare the bunkmate on Bunkmates. Leech is still not a character.

Until that second boss falls, clear Boiler with Gun Man’s machine gun, Barbarian swords, Skinja’s shotgun and speed, Baby’s magnum, and any other kit you already own. Leggy webs and Bug flight remain movement tools if you have them; they are not Boiler exclusives.

Exploration and Multiheal

Multiheal wants the whole industrial footprint, not a speed kill of the first boss. Hidden chests and off-path rooms are the point. Because item and key spots can shift, a second Boiler run can still find a chest you missed even if the walls look identical. Sweep, then return to a route you can survive. Full exploration is also how you stop treating Tombs as a mystery box: you enter the next map with more Bones and a new bunkmate if you stayed for the second boss.

Do not pad this page with invented remaining character names, shop prices, or wave counts. If a room feels like you are digging, remember the mining-map hedge above instead of renaming Boiler.

Enemies and named fights

Early Steam threats — bats, centaurs, exploding eyeballs — can still appear as the campaign’s vocabulary. This page does not invent a Boiler-only bestiary. Use the Enemies hub for type habits.

Confirmed Boiler beats:

  • First boss: Tombs achievement, opens Tombs.
  • Second boss: Hypnomancer unlock.
  • Final boss: Kill Zone.
  • Full explore: Multiheal.

Fight advice for named bosses sits on Beat Bosses. Related trophies sit on Achievements.

Weapons after the unlock

Machine-gun pressure remains honest while you learn the industrial rooms. Magnum sightlines punish planted threats. Shotgun bursts own a door. Circle blades want a choke you can hold. After Hypnomancer exists, gas is the new toy to bring back to Corridor and into later maps. Weapons and Loadouts help you reuse finds without inventing a shop.

When Tombs opens, the next story arena is later, denser, and exploration-heavy — not a documented unique gimmick page. You can still remain in Boiler for Kill Zone and Multiheal. After Tombs comes Flood. Stay solo. Use Boiler until the second boss is down if you want Hypnomancer, then take Tombs as the real next gate rather than substituting Daily.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

When does Boiler unlock?

Boiler unlocks after you defeat the first boss of Corridor. That kill is the Steam achievement named Boiler. Daily Dungeon is a separate mode.

How do I unlock Hypnomancer?

Defeat Boiler's second boss. Hypnomancer is not available when you first play Corridor. Gas is a later kit, conceptually strong in chokepoints when you return.

What are Kill Zone and Multiheal?

Kill Zone is the final Boiler boss. Multiheal tracks fully exploring Boiler. The first Boiler boss is what the Tombs achievement tracks.

Is Boiler the mining map PC Gamer mentioned?

Do not treat that as confirmed. Some coverage describes a mining-style arena among the six. Boiler is the industrial heat name in the first-boss chain; the mining remark is hedged until a source pins it.
